Macau Management Association Spring Dinner 2019

Macau Management Association has organized the Spring Dinner 2019 on March 18 at Federal Restaurant to express its thanks and appreciation to MMA management, all media, and staff for their hard work. Mr. Chui Sai Cheong, President of MMA indicated that the promulgation of the outline development plan for the Greater Bay Area signified the expansion of our scope of development and generating new impetus for growth to bring new development opportunities to different sectors of the community. Looking into 2019, MMA will put great effort into cultivating management professionals.

The dinner was held at 6/F, Federal Restaurant at 7:00pm. Mr. Chui Sai Cheong, President of MMA, Mr. Lau Veng Seng, Council Chairman of MMA, Mr. Jackson Tsui, Supervisory Board Chairman of MMA, Mr. Peter Lam, Mr. Eddie Wong, Mr. Bernie Leong, Mr. Jose Tang and Mr. Paul Tse, Vice-Presidents of MMA attended the dinner. Mr. Chui stated at his speech that MMA has been adhering to its founding purpose and objective to facilitate the implementation of the Government’s policy in offering professional training programs for people from various industries to promote the development of management profession in Macao. This year is the 35th Anniversary of MMA as well as the 20th Anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland is of its profound significance. We had launched the “One-Examination-Two-Certification Program” with a view to nurture local Facility Management talents with practical experiences and joining hands with Wuyi University to attract facility management professions to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area.

For the year ahead, we shall further deepening the scope of development of MMA. In addition, we will be celebrating its 35th Anniversary in April. MMA will be participating the International Final of Global Management Challenge (GMC) 2018 in Yekaterinburg, Russia in July and organize the GMC 2019 for Macau and Hong Kong regions. Annual Management Conference 2019 will also be held to share the latest management information. With respect to the academic field, the third batch of MBA Program was successfully launched in March. In line with the Greater Bay Area development needs, the resources of Macau Institute of Management will be reallocated and will maintain close liaison with overseas institutions in response to the development needs of Macao.
