MMA Young Managers’ Club Organized Handmade Pearl Accessory Workshop

Organized by MMA Young Managers’ Club (YMC) and sponsored by Macao Foundation, the “Handmade Pearl Accessory Workshop” was successfully held on May 30. The event was attended by Ms. Doris Lei, Council Member of MMA and Chairman of YMC; Mr. Alan Cheang, Member of Supervisory Board of MMA; and Ms. Zoe Lau, Acting Assistant Secretary General of MMA. It attracted enthusiastic participation from young executives across a wide range of industries.

The workshop was conducted by Ms. Chloe Chan, the Design Director and Founder of Cloé Jewelry & Art. Product Categories. and introduced to the participants the formation process of pearls and shared insights on marine conservation and sustainable development. Through the hands-on experience of harvesting pearls, participants created their own unique pearl accessories, gained further insight into the development of Macao’s jewellery design industry, and experienced the artistry of traditional craftsmanship.

YMC is one of the special interest groups of MMA established with the purpose of enhancing the quality of young management personnel. It aims to create a platform for young executive to pursue self-development and exchange ideas with one another and to broaden their horizons and enhance their professional management knowledge and skills through organizing a diverse range of group activities.
