MMA Takes Over the Presidency of the 23rd AAMO
The 2nd Council Meeting and the 14th Annual General Meeting of the Asian Association of Management Organisations (AAMO) 2025 was held in Hong Kong, China from November 25- 26. Mr. Raymond Bao, Council Vice-Chairman of Macau Management Association, participated in this meeting. During the meeting, all attending council members unanimously agreed to appoint Mr. Raymond Bao as the President of the 23rd AAMO (2025-2028), while MMA will take over the secretariat responsibilities of the association.
Attendees also included representatives from National Management Organisations (NMOs) from Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. During the meeting, representatives from NMOs reported on major Asian management events held over the past year and outlined future work plans. MMA also shared updates on this year's Asian Management Game, Young Managers’ Program, and the operational status of the association, etc. Additionally, it was also decided that the 1st Council Meeting of 2026 will be held in Malaysia in the second quarter of next year.
Following the meeting, members attended the Annual Conference co-organized by the AAMO and the Hong Kong Management Association, where speakers shared insights on promoting future development trends, business opportunities arising from Asia's strategic position, and potential pathways for unlocking these opportunities. Moreover, members visited one of the telecommunication groups in Hong Kong to gain first-hand knowledge of the latest developments in the local telecommunications and technology sectors. This series of activities not only enriched the participants' experience but also clearly demonstrated AAMO's commitment to promoting new management thinking and sharing best practices across the Asian region.
