Sharing Talk: Industrial Development of Facility Management

Organized by Macau Management Association, sponsored by Macao Foundation, a sharing talk themed “Industrial Development of Facility Management” was held on August 25 (Friday). Aim to share the current development direction, future opportunities and challenges of the facility management industry in Macao, thereby providing learning and interaction opportunities for practitioners.

Ms. Rain Lok, Senior Manager of Training and Consultancy division of MMA attended the sharing talk. Meanwhile, Mr. Nelson Sin, an expert from facility management industry as well as senior lecturer of MIM was invited to be the speaker.

During the sharing talk, Mr. Sin not only briefed basic FM knowledge to all audiences, but also shared on the difference between facility management and property management, facility management development and direction in nearly regions and Macao.

As a well-known international tourist city, Macao has a large number of distinctive world-class buildings and related facilities, and explore numerous job vacancies in the field of facility management. Mr. Sin believed that both new and existing facilities need to be managed effectively by professionals, achieving sustainable development of facilities, it also creates favorable development opportunities for those who are interested in entering the industry.
