MMA Seminar: Effective Cyber Security Management for Executives

MMA seminar of 2023 - Effective Cyber Security Management for Executives, was held on August 18. Organized by MMA, sponsored by Macao Foundation. Mr. Jack Kou, the Security Consultant & Engineer, and Mr. Ethan Lam, the Security Advisor Pre Sale Team, were invited to be the guest speakers. The aim of this seminar was to share with participants the knowledge of internet security, cybercrime and legal regulations, office network security, and practical recommendations for purchasing antivirus software.

During the seminar, the guest speaker mentioned the importance of network security management in Macau. Macau is a small and densely populated city, so improper protection of personal data will have far-reaching effects. Meanwhile, shared the channels and ways of hackers using malware to hack into different servers and then steal data and even blackmail.

In order to avoid cyber-attacks that may lead your business into crisis or desperate situations, it is important for all relevant employees to have proper knowledge of cyber security and pay attention to emails or unfamiliar invitations from unknown sources, which will help reduce the infection of your business computer system.
