Young Managers’ Club: Wine Tasting and Social Etiquette Workshop
Sponsored by Macau Foundation, Young Managers’ Club had organized a Wine Tasting and Social Etiquette workshop on July 13
As one of the special interest groups of MMA and has its mission and objective to serve as a platform for local young executives at personal development and to exchange ideas on management. By conducting various types of activities as to enhance professionalism in management practices and expand the horizons of young executives.
The workshop was held at the Mandarin Oriental Macau. Led by Mr. Kevin Lei, who holds a number of professional qualifications in wine and has been accumulating a lot of good reputation over the years, provided a broad scope of basic wine knowledge to participants. For instance, the fundamental of main types and styles of wine; the description of the region of origin; the introduction of wine-serving utensils, principal grape varieties and countries; how to serve wine in dining and social etiquette, etc. The atmosphere was very relaxing and pleasant, participants actively raised questions and delved into the myth of wine with lecturer. They also tasted different kinds of wines and shared information with people from various industries. Participants, who were mainly from the middle to senior management from various business sectors, effectively improve their soft skills, increase social knowledge and expand their social circle through the workshop.
