“Bank of China Trophy” GMC Regional Final Prize Presentation Dinner 2025
Organized by MMA and title sponsored by Bank of China (Macau) Limited, the “Bank of China Trophy” Global Management Challenge 2025 Macao Regional Final Prize Presentation Dinner was successfully held on January 16. After two rounds of eliminations in three months, the top 8 teams out of 111 enrollments competed for the regional championship on January 13. Student teams from Macau University of Science and Technology eventually swept the Champion, 1st and 2nd Runners-up titles.
The Prize Presentation Dinner was held at the Grand Ballroom, 8/F, StarWorld Hotel. Mr. Lau Veng Seng, Council Chairman of MMA, said in his speech, the Global Management Challenge, which originated in Europe in 1980, has been spanned 45 years and has attracted over 700,000 management talents across more than 30 countries and regions. MMA has been hosting the Macao regional edition since 1996, serving as an important bridge between local and global management practices. He added that numerous young people in Macao have developed systematic thinking and decision-making skills through the simulation competition, nurturing future pillars with an international perspective.
There are total of 111 teams participated in the Global Management Challenge 2025 Macao Region, including 107 student teams and 4 corporate and mixed teams. They are mostly from universities and institutions as well as business elites from banking industries and public sectors. The champion team “XY” will represent Macao at the International Final and will compete for the world championship title with elites from other countries and regions.
