“Bank of China Trophy” GMC Regional Final Prize Presentation Dinner 2023
Organized by MMA, “Bank of China Trophy” Global Management Challenge 2023 Regional Final Prize Presentation Dinner concluded successfully on January 19. After two rounds of eliminations in nearly 3 months, the 8 top-ranked teams competed for the Regional Champion title among the 106 teams on January 19, and the student team “Earnnnnmoney” from Macao Polytechnic University eventually crowned the Champion, while the 1st and 2nd Runners-up went to student team “GWC” from University of Macau and corporate team “TFBC” from Tai Fung Bank Limited respectively.
The Prize Presentation Dinner was held at Grand Ballroom 8/F, StarWorld Hotel. Mr. Lau Veng Seng, Council Chairman of MMA, said in his speech, originated in Europe in 1980, GMC aims to elevate the standards of modern corporate management globally. In 1996, MMA introduced this competition to Macao with the goal of enhancing the level of management professionalism in the region and cultivating management elites with an international perspective. GMC plays a positive role in nurturing local management talents in which participants are able to master the overall operational model of enterprises and enhance their understanding and awareness of corporate management through the competition.
There are total of 106 teams participated in the Global Management Challenge 2023 Macao Region, including 93 student teams and 13 corporate and mixed teams. They are mostly from universities and institutions as well as business elites from banking indutries and public sectors. The winning team of the Regional Final will represent Macao to participate in the International Final which will be held in New Delhi in India this year. They will compete for the world championship title with other countries and regions in the International Final.
