Press Conference of “Survey on Macau Enterprises Management Ability Index 2017”

    The press conference of “Survey on Macau Enterprises Management Ability Index 2017” was held on September 25, hosted by Mr. Tommy Lau, MMA Council Chairman and Dr. Alan Poon, MMA Project Consultant. The survey was launched with the aim of evaluating various kinds of managerial skills in local companies.

    The result shows that the management capability index of enterprises in Macau reached 76 this year, up by 4 points from last year. According to the findings, the local companies’ management personnel skills have reached the levels of some advanced countries and regions like Australia, Hong Kong and India. Dr. Poon proposes the Government to provide local companies with more resources for professional training. With the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area (GBA), Dr. Poon suggested that Macau’s enterprises cooperate with higher education institutions and industry and commerce associations in the GBA in professional training.
