MMA Participated in AAMO Triennial Conference, 2nd Council Meeting and 11th AGM

Asian Association of Management Organisations (AAMO) Triennial Conference coincided with 2nd Council Meeting 2022 and 11th AGM and were successfully organized on November 1 online. The 22nd term (2022-2025) of AAMO office bearer was also elected at the meeting. Due to the pandemic, this is the first time to conduct the conference virtually, and renowned speakers from across Asia were invited to share their views and explore on the theme “Asia in Transition: Regional Cooperation in a Changing World”. Macau Management Association (MMA) was invited to take part in it and Dr. Samuel Tong, President of Macau Institute of Management (MIM), being one of the panelists, shared his valuable insights and discuss with business leaders and specialists from other National Management Organisations in the region on the challenges that the Asian economies are facing and had attracted over thousands of online viewers from respective Asian countries and regions.


Followed by the Triennial Conference, Mr. Raymond Bao, MMA Council Vice-Chairman & Honorary Treasurer, Ms. Jodie Lam, MMA Secretary General and Ms. Tina Lin, MMA Accounting Manager attended the 2nd Council Meeting 2022 and 11th AGM on the same day online via Zoom.


AAMO representatives from member nations namely Hong Kong, India, Macao, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka joined to discuss the current and future plans of the organization. MMA reported on the Asian Management Game and the financial status of AAMO of the current year.


The term of office of the AAMO Presidency shall rotate every 3 years. At the meeting, Hong Kong Management Association was unanimously elected to serve as the 22nd President of AAMO for the period 2022-2025.
