Borrowing

Users must present their student cards / membership cards at counter for borrowing services.

Returns

Users must return loaned items to the Library on or before the due dates. When returning, users must present to the Circulation Counter a valid membership card, borrowing card, or student ID card for items check-in.

Renewals

Staff members and students may renew borrowed items on or before the due date if the items are not under reservation (Students may renew items once). Overdue loans may not be renewable.

Reservation

Users may reserve checked-out items or items under cataloguing. The library staff will inform the users when the reserved items are returned to the Library. Users should come to collect the reserved items, on or before a specified date. Or else the rescrued item will be released to the second user on the waiting list.

Overdue

Users are responsible for returning their loans on or before the due date. An overdue fine calculable immediately from the due date will be charged at the rate of MOP3.00- per day. At the same time, the borrowing privilege will be suspended until all overdue items are returned and all fines are settled. Attempts will be made to send overdue notices to borrowers as soon as possible. Non-receipt of such notices will not be accepted as an excuse for waiving or reducing fines on the overdue items. After having issued three consecutive overdue notices and in the absence of any response from the borrowers, the Library will assume the items are lost. The borrowers must pay for the items.

Lost & Damaged

If the users lose or damage borrowed items, they should immediately report to the Library. An overdue fine at the rate of MOP3.00- per day per item will be automatically charged twice of the items' estimated prices.

Periodicals

Available inside the library area only, NOT for circulation.
(Only MMA Members & MIM academic staff can borrow the back issues and the procedures of returning follow the general books.)

Newspapers

Available inside the library area only, NOT for circulation.

Video, Tape, Diskettes & CD

Borrowing services are provided to the MIM academic staff only.

Textbook

Borrowing service to all MMA members and MIM students. Textbooks of business management marked with "HDBA"; textbooks of Accounting marked with "HDIA " and textbooks of Bachelor Degree in Business Administration marked with "BBA "

Non-Circulation Materials Reference Materials

Dictionaries, encyclopedia, government documents, legal regulations and statistic
information are NOT for circulation.

MMA Theses

Borrowers may request one thesis at a time for a period. Theses cannot be copied nor taken out of the Library premises.

Photocopy Service

Please contact our counter staff to use the photocopy service.
