MMA Annual Management Conference 2018

    The MMA 2018 Annual Management Conference was held on October 15 at 3/F Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Centre, themed “Characteristic Finance: Wealth Management and Financial Leasing” and was well attended with over 100 participants.

     Mr. Zhang Jianhua, Deputy Director-General of the Economic Affairs Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao S.A.R., Mr. Lau Wai Meng, Deputy Director of Macao Economic Bureau, Mr. Chui Sai Cheong, President of MMA, Mr. Lau Veng Seng, Council Chairman of MMA, Mr. Peter Lam, Mr. Jose Tang and Mr. Paul Tse, Vice-Presidents of MMA officiated at the opening ceremony.

     Specialists, scholars and industry practitioners from Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China were invited to share their experiences and raised valuable insights relating to the developing trend of Macau Characteristic Finance, they are: Mr. Rex Wong, Founder & Chairman of Hong Kong Blockchain Industry Association; Ms. Vong Sok Hei, Rosita, Partner and Lawyer of Vong Hin Fai Lawyers & Private Notary; Mr. Meng Jianbo, Executive Vice-Chairman of Guangdong’s Association for Promotion of Cooperation between Guangdong, Hongkong & Macao and the Officer of the Finance Professional Committee; Mr. Ip Sio Kai, Chairman of The Macau Association of Banks, Deputy General Director of Bank of China Macau Branch and Mr. SK Leung Shu Kie, Hong Kong Financial Education Trainer and Advocator, Chartered Wealth Manager (CWM).
